Party Themes & Characters

Carnival for Kids parties are based around a central disco party theme including: face painting, party games, disco dancing and dance activities, which vary depending on the age of the children. 

• The toddler discos (2-4yo) are filled with music like Baby Shark, The Wiggles and a few familiar songs to get the children dancing such as the chicken dance and the hokey pokey.
• The older children (5-10 yo) parties have loads of the latest music, which the children hear and bop along to on the radio along with songs that have actions to them which ensures everyone is on the dance floor-macarena, cha cha slide and blame it on the boogie for example.
• The teenage late night discos (over 10 yo) are more of a DJ set up with the girls and boys having their song requests and we allow them have a free dance for a song or two in between guided party games and activities, all age appropriate.

Your party entertainers will host the party from arrivals through to the very end, ensuring everyone is having a great time and the party is moving in a fun and entertaining direction. If a game or activity is not working or being well received we will change the activity to something else.

Characters

If you would like to have a character party such as Elsa, Fairies, Princesses, My Little Pony, Mermaids or Minnie mouse your entertainers will host the party in full themed character costume. The costume cupboard at Carnival for Kids is bursting with a huge range of popular characters for your entertainers to wear. In the event we do not have a character costume at the party venue we will do our very best to source it for the party, just ask us today.

Workshops & Special Visitors

Party workshops are a great extra activity to help create the ultimate party experience for your family and your guests. All workshops are conducted at the start of the party for approx 30-45 minutes, followed by a party game or two whilst we prepare and set for your party food and cake time. Special visitors can include sub contracted Magicians, Super Heros Reptile incursions as well as mini petting zoos. We also have a real fire truck with fire fighters who can arrive with sirens and teach the children how to hit water targets.
